- General Terms
- Offices are open from 8.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
- Our terms are Pro Forma, unless a credit account has been requested. If we only trade with you occasionally, or have a small volume of business, we will keep to a proforma or credit card account - that way we both know where we are. With credit accounts, terms are 30 days from date of invoice. I know this sounds picky but it is UNLAWFUL to withhold payment for no reason so if you do have a problem, contact us. If we’ve made an error with the invoice or with the order, we’ll say sorry, of course, but it is your responsibility to inform us prior to the due settlement date.
- Abuse of our credit terms will mean the account being withdrawn and the interest of 7% per month above bank base rate will be applied. An order will not be sent out if payments are overdue. Payments can be made by cheque or credit card over the phone.
- Prices
- Prices stated may change without notice. Trading with the Euro or other currencies, weather conditions and harvests do effect our buying. If ordering through one of our appointed distributors, wholesalers or agents, prices and delivery terms may vary accordingly.
- Orders
- We do not have a minimum order value, but let’s be sensible about this: Our carriage paid delivery value is £150.00 net. We do stick to this figure, so please ask for totals when ordering. Below £150 net order value, we will add £7.00 +VAT for carriage. Orders are accepted subject to the availability of goods and on an order to order basis. No continuing contractual obligation is implied. Any natural weight loss of products is to be borne by the consignee. Deliveries and receipts of goods must be checked at time of receipt. Claims regarding condition or quantity can only be accepted if made in writing within 2 days.
- UK Deliveries and Order Times
- Most of our deliveries are made by ANC couriers or by pallet and sometimes by Parcelforce. Everything is sent on a 24 hour service, however this isn’t infallible! Turn around time from receiving your order is normally 48hrs, longer in busy periods. Deliveries are made Monday – Friday with a surcharge added at cost for timed deliveries and Saturdays.
- Please note:
- Our lovely customers in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, all other offshore islands, North and South Ireland and other parts of Europe will find their deliveries take a little longer to get to them and carriage is at cost for all orders. Costs depend on size of order and location. Please ask us for details when ordering and we’ll do all we can to make the experience as cost effective for you as possible.
